I wrote this on a plane

And three other posts too.

I also edited a podcast, listened to a guided meditation and watched an episode of Seinfeld while snacking on those dry and uninspiring rice crackers they serve at 30,000 feet.

All in the space of a 4 hour, WIFI free flight.

Such is the significance of a distraction free environment.

That in order to be proactive, we must remove the temptation to be reactive

There were no feeds to be scrolled, no stories to be viewed and no emails to be read.

And so, I got to work.

Did it require a flight to create these conditions?

Of course not.

In fact, I’d wager I could’ve done even more if I wasn’t in a cramped, air compressed tube, knees touching my ears and strangers reading over my shoulder.

So what if we gave ourselves permission to do just that?

To have 4 hours distraction free more often? Be it once, twice or, dare I say it, three times a week?

What might we create?
