Leadership is about intentionally creating the conditions for others to choose new actions.
Some do this through fear, dictatorship and uncertainty. They say “you must do this, or else…”
Others do this through generosity, empathy and care. They say “here’s where we need to go, what do you think is the best way to get there?”
Both are choices.
