Must be effortful.

There will be tension, discomfort and a moment where you feel like giving up.

It will look and feel something like this:


One useful frame is to think of the squiggly section as a growing pain of the brain.

It’s just like going to the gym and getting sore muscles.

Or having braces and feeling your teeth ache.

Or growing so fast you get shin splints and can’t run (true story from an awkward adolescence).

That is to say: in order to get to where we seek to go, there needs to be some discomfort.

It’s a sure thing when travelling on the path toward meaningful change.
